Home Solutions Midwest had its beginning in 1979 as Albert Lea Siding & Windows. One pickup truck and a two man crew featuring owner Paul Field and Brian Heavner. Brian remains a key employee yet today! In 1985, Mr. Field heard about a new product called "seamless steel siding" and soon was the local provider of the now world famous ABC Seamless Steel Siding & Gutters. In addition to the Albert Lea area, the company also purchased the rights to Austin, MN and a portion of North Iowa. Due to the incredible popularity of the seamless products, the name of the company became ABC Seamless Siding & Gutters of Albert Lea.
The home improvement industry exploded through the 1980's and 1990's and the company grew again to include ABC Seamless Siding & Gutters, Renewal by Andersen Windows added in 2000, Gutter Helmet gutter protection systems added in 1991, and TEMO Sunrooms. With the vast selection of home improvement products being offered, it was time to find a name that would work today and into the future. In 2003 the name Home Solutions Midwest was selected.

Today, Home Solutions Midwest has over 25 employees and serves all of Southern Minnesota, Northern Iowa, and a portion of Western Wisconsin.
