*1 - The TruScene Screen is available on all Andersen and Renewal by Andersen windows. It is not available from other window companies.
*2 - Renewal by Andersen will supply sunglass at no charge. If you install a film on a vinyl window, you may void it's warranty.
*3 - Our Work Comp insurance covers all of our workers. If you hire a small contractor, he is not required to cover himself with W.C.. insurance. If he hires additional sub-contractors like himself, then no one is covered by WC. If you choose to go that way, contact an insurance person and take out your own policy to protect yourself. If someone working on your property gets seriously injured, you could be held responsible for his or her injuries, and your insurance will not help you. YOU have no insurance for hired workers.
*4 - Our warranty covers the installation of the windows for two year. The other companies will not cover any installed labor.
*5 - Our warranty covers material and labor on future service work. The other companies cover only the parts, but no labor.
*6 - The RBA warranty is for 20 years on the window, no matter who owns the property. Many other companies' warranties are for the ORIGINAL OWNER ONLY. IT IS NOT TRANSFERABLE.
*7 - If a stress crack should develop, that sash will be replaced at no charge. Other companies do not cover glass breakage for any cause or any reason.
*8 - Every window has a serial number that helps to identify when it was made and to what specification. This becomes important when service work is needed so we can match the new part to the existing window.
*9 - Vinyl windows do not have enough strength to support the insulated glass pack, so they have to install a metal stiffener inside the meeting rail, which affects its thermal quality. With Renewal by Andersen windows, this is not necessary because our frame is strong enough to support the glass. We have no metal stiffener in the center meeting rail.
