Vinyl Siding
  1. Never needs painting

  2. Very high rate of expansion and contraction
  3. Sensitive to heat (warps or melts)
  4. Softens and buckles at 185°
  5. No strength (chips, cracks, breaks easily)
  6. Limited Colors
  7. Seams Everywhere
  8. Hard to Wash
  9. Cannot be nailed tight to structure; therefore becomes susceptible to wind damage
  10. White siding will NOT match accessories
  11. Co-extrusion reduces quality
  12. Very sensitive to Ultraviolet Rays (fading)
  13. Replacing damaged panels to match existing color is impossible
  14. Styles and color choices are discontinued at manufacturer's discretion
